Added 2023-03-21 18:50:19 +0000 UTCI've reviewed the problem and it turns out that (thankfully) the claim was limited to Demon Slayer alone (for now).
I have deleted Demon Slayer videos on this platform, but will share an alternative at some point in the near future. If anyone is currently watching the Demon Slayer reactions, DM me.
I'm not sure how this will affect this platform going forward, but it's a safe bet that something similar will happen with Haikyuu!! at some point, as they are owned by the same studio (Viz). I have been informed that other Viz shows are also being targeted, such as Naruto and One Punch Man. It is also reasonable to assume that this will happen for shows by other studios somewhere down the road.
But for now it seems that this will be resolved for the time being, which is great news and a huge relief.
Thank you to everyone for the kind comments and the excellent advice! I will update again if anything comes up.

There's been talk about Patreon cracking down on reaction channels and sadly that has now come our way.
I got an email from Patreon saying that my account is suspended until I comply. I'm not exactly sure what that means yet, as I still seem to be able to access my account and posts seem to be up.
But I'll be assessing what's going on and dealing with it ASAP.
I just wanted to make this post now, in case I can't later, to explain what's going on in case things temporarily go offline.
I will update asap!

It would be slightly annoying to do on mobile but not the end of the world. You would also never hear another sub versus dub argument again 😂

2023-03-21 21:30:58 +0000 UTCOne solution is to abbreviate names of the anime. Patreon claims are manual, not algorithmic...I think. But I mostly see death note, Naruto, demon slayer and one punch man being hit.

Some have been coming up with code names to call the shows they are watching (example: “Taking sports way too seriously” for Haikyuu or “Superheroes of Anime” for MHA). I’ve also seen people switch to putting an external link for their reactions in their Patreon posts

Yeah it can be a bitch for audiences to link up but I feel you can dodge the strikers easily and it’ll require less editing on your side. The only big problem with probably be the pausing and unpauseing for you to give your thoughts

Its evident you were a teacher once because your analysis’ and commentary are so in depth, you even take the time to give thoughts on each scene rather than the episode as a whole and grasp concepts and themes I never even thought about even rewatching stuff severeal times.
