Hello is it I, Francesca, back on the Patreon. I am still very poor but had to come back to binge the end of Kaguya lol

Francesca White

When i see his cosplay scene all i can picture is the dubs versions of that scene. “This drip dont quit” 😂😂

Billy Nowosielski

PAART TWO “This is the problem with dating someone super popular. She’s just in high demand being the goddess that she is,” “It’s a sign of strength that you know yourself and believe in yourself enough to say things even when they might not seem like what the other person’s expecting,” “I did this for you as a grand romantic gesture! And I heard that you like Sailor Moon, so I’m cosplaying as Tuxedo Mask,” “Get yourself a man who gives you his cape,” “It’s me. It’s me. You can have alllll of me,” “What is it, an app? You got an app for this?” “The Miyuki Starter Kit: Cosplay. Balloons. A fan. Poverty. Octopus Weiners.” “My blue heart. In remembrance of the blue ass that I left behind,” Principal: Putain… Goodwin: That’s like the one French word that I know (Gosh dang it. I was SO looking forward to explaining that the principal said ‘fuck’) “And you know there’s one opportunistic guy in the crowd telling his girlfriend he did this balloon display for her,” “Back in the glory of your accomplishments,” (just the entire fact that Goodwin didn’t realize why Kaguya full-on French-kissing Miyuki on the first kiss might be odd) “Sometimes there’s an unseen opportunity in pain,” “They were all things that he did for Kaguya, but they were all things that they did alone,”

Geneva The Weeba

PART ONE “Is he making this up to impress her, like I do with constellations?” “And just casual backflip for good measure,” “Eh, we have enough of those around. Come back when you have wealth and power,” “‘I’ve come to claim the cultural festival- ‘Ar-SEEN’’” (Once again crying at Goodwin’s French pronunciation) “We’re about to get a very good glimpse of Miyuki’s massive balls,” “Just on principle, I’m gonna bet against Chika solving this,” “Chika’s really getting dragged,” “All that’s left is the truth,”

Geneva The Weeba

I’ve got to give some credit to the manga author Aka Akasaka for being able to translate the feelings this story provokes to the pages of the manga so perfectly.

bl0odm1st

That whole love triangle is so bizarre. Hope I get to see where it goes

Alex G

I know Vinland and Haikyuu are next up on your plate but if you still want to watch romance on your own time, then Teasing Master Takagi is good. it's all fluff and nice if you want something far less complicated.

ArmdVctr

Yeah the post credits is probably from right after the movie so maybe theyll make it so people who binge watch it in the future can skip the movie? Even though they reaaaallly shouldnt

Finn

Without giving spoilers, the manga continues on after this but judging from the post-credits scene idk if the anime will do the same. The anime post credit scene has a time-skip of about a month or two judging by the blooming flowers, but the manga instead continues with the immediate aftermath of the cultural festival. I guess time will tell if we get a season 4. Edit: Nevermind we're getting a movie adapted from the next manga arc and season 4 is in the works

Deiondre0

This is what happens when you run fast at the race. Papagane's wisdom coming in clutch.

lrmc32

Lmao Kaguya screwed up by slipping tongue during their romantic first kiss. Skipped a step and full force French kissed him thanks to the war criminals.

Musicisum

rip karen

Matthew B

I love that bit at the end. I think Hayasaka was calling her an idiot because Kaguya didn't give Miyuki JUST a peck. Lot of tongue action was involved hence Miyuki steaming at the end! I guess first kisses aren't supposed to instantly become frenching lmaoo

martiancide

Can we talk about how Ishigami went from being hated in season 1 and 2 to now having the most girls interested in him in season 3. What's he got like 3?

Laggy

Literally my only issue I have with the anime is that can’t fit every single moment of the manga in there. It’s just not really possible with time/budget constraints. But every moment that does get adapted is just as good or better in anime form.

Megan

The manga continues but by this arc we all got what we wanted!

GodlyPie

Kashiwagi and her boyfriend are war criminals because they kept french kissing in front of Kaguya (ex. in the horror house) so now she thinks that french kissing is your default way to kiss your boyfriend. >.<

Hofitel

lol Karen noticed the inorganic paper because her father's the CEO of a publishing company -- just a small detail they left out of the anime. Another omitted detail is that the vending machine was working fine, but Kaguya was trying to use the rough equivalent of 100 USD on it because she doesn't carry pleb change. As far as what Kaguya did to "blunder right at the end," it's that her first kiss, to cap off such a romantic moment, was a sloppy one-sided french kiss. She has no idea what she's doing, so she emulated Kashiwagi and her boyfriend's full-on tongue wrestling (and their accidental influence is why they were branded "war criminals" by the narrator). Hayasaka thinks she went too far and called her an idiot. Not to be taken seriously, just like most of the "X loses/wins" calls the narrator makes. It's just a bit of levity at the end... or is it? Also, maybe I'm misunderstanding what you said, but I don't think it's that Miyuki desires Kaguya's social status (though he does still have that chip on his shoulder). I think he just fears that class gap between them and wants her to come down to his level first (via confessing) if he's gonna feel secure in the long term with her. He probably thinks if he's the one to ask this of her and put the whole outcome in her hands, she's always going to be holding the cards. It's still silly, of course.

lrmc32

Goodwin’s mourning the loss of a character that never really existed. However I wouldn’t be mad at anyone who has Chika as there favorite character. Chika amazing and so much fun in her own Chika way, but she’s not the altruistic and perfect human like Goodwin and a lot of others originally think.

Megan

The manga is wayyy better for the last part, but Kaguya french kissed him. In the manga, one whole panel is literally just giant text that says “The French Kiss” and then explains what it is lmao

Backslash

The biggest character development was Goodwin realizing Chika wasn't the best character after all

thegreatquack

CHADogane is the best form of Shirogane. Holy shit does my boy Miyuki go off in these two episodes.

benj

From blue ass to blue heart. Now THAT's character development!

Donnie Betlem

Yeah I have also been a IshiMiko shipper since Miko's introduction. Tsubame is great and of course I am rooting for my boy Ishigami in that potential relationship but I feel like the person for him is right there in the student council.

benj

Japanese vending machines are amazing. They heat up the canned coffee for you. Seriously.

Hofitel

And an entire arc that is incredible about Hayasaka and Kaguya, and we are currently in the very long Conclusion arc which contains a lot of miniarcs within it.

benj

Cultural Festivals are always important events in anime, but Kaguya-sama’s Cultural Festival and Dual Confessions arc is just the best for me. I am amazed how it is able to tie together so many different major and minor elements from throughout the entire series and come up with this beautiful confession. The arc also gave so many minor characters time to shine without taking anything away from our main cast. It’s a masterclass of balancing and writing.

Hofitel

I ship Miko and Ishigami so hard...the fact that he went out JUST to show her a video he thought would make her smile literally melts my heart. And that "here's-a-lost-and-found-item-I-found-and-am-turning-it-in" ploy will not work on me Mr. Ishigami! I know your game! You love her and don't realize it yet!

Athena

Fear not Goodwin! A Kaguya-sama film is in production and it’ll cover the next arc the manga (what comes right after this last episode) It’s called Love is War: The First Kiss Never Ends. Here’s the link. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2022-07-07/kaguya-sama-love-is-war-series-gets-anime-film/.187477 Where this season leaves off is almost exactly the half-way point in the manga.

Megan

The manga is a lot longer because after this it focuses on stuff like the struggles of a first relationship, the stories of Ishigami, Iino, Tsubmae, Maki, etc, and then the most important side-arc: chika and the ramen kings.

Backslash

Today was a good day, where were you when romance anime was saved? Even Maki didn’t suffer as much as usual during this finale… There is some serious irony when it comes to Maki wanting all the couples to burn alive while the girl who is dating the man she loves turns out to actually like her more than him. I wish they included Maki’s short monologue during that scene that was in the manga, she said something like, “She's the only person I just can't bring myself to hate." I really love how they both treasure each other over the boy they both like.

benj

I had 4 episodes to watch to be caught up last night, and I binged through it all. It was so worth it, such a satisfying ending. Beautiful, heartfelt moments. When Kaguya cried, I teared up so much. It's clear how much they mean to each other. Grateful to be able to watch these characters grow!

Aura Y

These two episodes are, for me, the best two episodes in all of Kaguya-Sama: Love is War. I am praying for more seasons of the anime after next season but we will see.

benj

This revelation made me fall in love so much more with this story. At first you think it's just a funny gag, their pride, but it slowly uncovers that there are real people underneath all that with much deeper insecurities and aspirations. And none of it feels forced. The revelation is so organic. Brilliant writing!

Hofitel

Interesting. I'd love to see it regardless. I think the characters alone would make it worthwhile. As long as it remained the same quality and humor it could follow any premise

Alex G

Grand councilor Ootomo no Miyuki, one of Princess Kaguya’s suitors, had the impossible task of bringing her a jewel from the dragon’s neck. This is of course the basis of Miyuki Shirogane’s grand ultra romantic scheme. Miyuki obtains for Kaguya the giant pearl from his papier-mâché dragon and stuffs it full of his love for her. He is assisted in this endeavor by Momo Ryuju, whose surname can be literally translated to “dragon’s pearl.” (Momo was up all night helping Miyuki gather all the heart shaped balloons. Momo and Miyuki have history, otherwise she would have never agreed to help him. But what their connection is has not been revealed in the anime yet.)

Hofitel

the manga series extends far beyond their confession, so this climactic moment actually happens in line with the complete story’s pacing. it was the accurate way to end the season. going forward, however, even if there’s still great humor and fascinating character development, the plot doesn’t have that snappy, tension-filled pitch of “one has to confess first” that adapts so well to a series so i’m not quite sure how they’re going to approach the remainder of the adaptations. i think there’s a TV movie coming up?

phaedra mladen

Same... we shall wait for the movies

benj

The truth behind this brilliant concept for an anime has been revealed in full, not confessing for all this time was never just about pride. Kaguya has hated herself ever since she was a little girl, Miyuki finally confessing to her is the ultimate proof that it is possible for someone to love her. Miyuki is a boy from a working class family who fell in love with a prodigy billionaire. Kaguya finally confessing to him would be the ultimate proof that they are in fact equals, not just some commoner shooting way out of his league.

benj

67 minutes, Goodwin you spoil us!

Megan

man i’m caught up on the anime, the manga, and now this reaction series. the kaguya-sama withdrawals are gonna be bad

phaedra mladen

WE DID IT JOE !!!
