In hindsight this post is a weird clash of tones between channel stuff and my situation, but don't be afraid to leave JJK questions too! Haha

I've finished season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen! Leave your questions below for the Q&A coming next week.
It will be posted Tuesday at the earliest but most likely Thursday due to a series of unforeseen events including...
- a breakup
- my lease ending and having nowhere to move due to said breakup
- not knowing which city to live... do I stay in Jeju in case it's not actually over, or do I move to Seoul where my friends are (and more opportunities)?
- finding out that due to bureaucratic errors I'm currently living illegally in Korea
- and other fun things.
So I appreciate the patience regarding delays!
I will also be posting the poll for the next show tomorrow, and I'll outline the schedule more clearly there :D

For questions I have a couple. I think this show fleshes out side characters by highlighting their motivations clearly, is this something you'd like to see in more shows? Also a common critique I see from people is that Itadori doesn't seem important enough as the MC and that other characters are more compelling. What do you think about that and which of the students do you think would be a better MC if it wasn't him? Obviously a show with Panda as the MC would be amazing.

The theatrical stage play for JJK just finished its Tokyo run and is showing currently in Osaka. It's very unlikely that it will be available overseas, but it is a musical complete with Gojou rapping about Sukuna's fingers and Ijichi getting a 5 second solo. If it ever becomes available overseas, would you watch it? Do you have any interest in 2.5 anime stage plays?

For a JJK question: We know that cursed energy is stronger the more negative emotion a person puts into it or at least can make a person stronger, with that in mind and knowing Gojo is always called "the strongest" what do you think is in his backstory that could cause him so much negative emotion where he's this strong compared to everyone else we've seen?

I find myself thinking of Memento Mori in my day-to-day life, where I have so many days where if it had been my last, I would've spent it doing something else. With that in mind, do you think it's healthy to remind ourselves often of our inevitable demise? I feel the pull of safety and content-ness (that our brain desires) while acknowledging that I feel a sort of FOMO not engaging in more exciting or "risky" activities (ie. even just being afraid to shoot my shot when it comes to dating). Where do you find balance? Anxiety holds me back, and it feels like some days it would require something extreme to happen to me (like a terminal illness) to motivate me to give less fucks and melt away the internal barriers. Not existing doesn't necessarily scare me, but the act of dying does.

If you care for advice: I only know a bit about your relationship from the videos I've seen where you talk about it, but if I am remembering right, I think you said you had an argument that led to a temporary breakup type thing and there might have been more rough patches throughout (unsure about the last part). Assuming you really care about her and think there is a real chance that things can be worked out, and also (REALLY IMPORTANT) you think that it's worth all the hardship you've gone through and will likely go through moving forward, if you continue to try to and eventually be with this person. Only really you know, since you obviously understand the situation way better than any of us could, just remember to be really honest and objective, and to rely on your deepest values to come to a decision. Assuming you say it's worth it, I would try staying in Jeju and looking for the absolute cheapest and lowest commitment place to stay at, that won't affect your uploads to whatever degree you are comfortable with. I'm not really sure if that's possible, since I don't really know what the housing situation is like there, and how lame ass bureaucracy might get in the way of it, but I would definitely prioritize reestablishing communication in and honest and humble way (basically just not coming off as creepy, possessive or crossing any boundaries, is what I mean). !!!Seriously though, be as humble as you need to, even if it feels ridiculous!!! It probably won't happen that day (but it might), but once the situation has calmed down, and everybody's emotions have settled (including you), that's when you can actually have the conflict resolution discussion. If things still go sour again from there, I would really be reconsidering the hardship equation you made earlier. I understand that you don't like being felt like someone else is telling you what to do, so I'm sorry if I'm doing that or come off as too preachy. I also kind of lean more towards being an optimist, so take that into consideration too. Of course you already knew all of that, but maybe reading through what somebody else typed helps in some way. Also, Alex, I think I can speak for almost everyone here in saying that if you feel you need to slow down on content, that's plenty understandable. (Example: Megumi forming his Chimera Shadow Garden as soon as he takes Gojo’s advice and stops being so self-sacrificial all the time.) Whose Domain Expansions do you think we’ll see in Season 2? And how do you think these Domain Expansions will represent the characters you chose, like how the Domains will look physically and/or how they’ll represent the characters’ growth? Also wow, that series of events sounds like hell, I can’t imagine dealing with all of that at once. Feel free to take breaks whenever you need to, we can wait as long as necessary.

My question for jjk would simply be now that your finished, what are your thoughts on the main character yuji. He has a simple struggle that is the through line for his character. This idea of not dying alone and helping those who can't help themselves. This is very basic and is a part of probably most shonen anime protagonists drive and character, but for some reason I was caught off guard by yuji's simple yet effective execution of this type of motivation. So what was your overall experience with yuji so far like?
