Mob Psycho 100 Q&A (timestamps below)

Comments

Back here to rewatch some Mob Psycho 100 videos and stumbled upon this comment. I absolutely agree I hope Re:Zero is featured on the channel one day

Nick

I was just thinking the same thing recently. Re:Zero would give him A LOT to discuss.

b3rd

The more I hear you discuss your love for character journey's the more I can't fathom how you haven't watched Re:Zero yet. Its a class act in character study and deconstructing the Isekai trope by exposing the "hero's" insecurities and self delusions

daniel kurtz

oh also have you played death stranding? you mentioned in the start that you loved rpg’s because you like the adventurous and traveling aspects of them, and death stranding really scratches that feeling for me. it’s a really beautiful world to travel in. the slow and arduous aspect of it really did it for me, although that’s not for everyone. also botw and elden ring are beautiful examples of exploration and traveling in video games but i could go on for ages😅

Keegan Brakhage

haha great answer to my bowl cut question, i think a boy with only the purest of hearts would get a bowl cut in middle school

Keegan Brakhage

Its my first time being here for a Q&A and it was fun to hear more of your viewpoints on everything. It isnt common to see people put so much thought into everything they see so its quite interesting for sure. Also as soon as i heard your mention of being a child actor i searched and i found a kid who had the same face, hair and after one of the movies he stared probably a fear of large man eating bugs. Does that that ring a bell at all?

Kyekva

I love that scene so much. It's absolutely hilarious, but it also is another allusion to putting all your eggs in one basket and having them all break. "Gohan" ignored everything but psychic power to elevate his senses, and in doing so blinded himself to other threats.

Sam B

What hollup, wdym Teru defeated the Man U called Gohan, um HELLO do u not rmb self-defence rush ???!! Only the great master Reigen has the power to defeat such a powerful Esper

Andre Tan

After this Q&A I'm starting to feel like you'd enjoy watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure quite a bit, but I could also definitely understand if it's not on the table.

Willhoe

I spoke with him on the phone yesterday and that story came up since it was fresh on my mind and we cracked up about it for the 100th time

Alex G

Wow, I’m leaving a lot of comments (I’m making them as I watch the video), but you love of Gohan keeps making me VERY excited to see you react to Jujutsu Kaisen, you’ll see when it comes up.

Chris Sharpe

The image of Goodwin picking up his drunk, ready to fight friend and just legging it is just….comedic.

Chris Sharpe

The Q&A's are always such a great way to round out the end of the series. Really smooths the sad fact that the show is over and eases the transition into the new one. Plus, my question got a chuckle, which is basically gold. Thanks Goodwin

MikeWest

I’m a bit of a newer patron, and haven’t participated in the Q&A before. There was something about hearing my name being said out loud that made my heart skip a beat. Don’t get the wrong idea, the reason isn’t because I worship the group Goodwin stands on, but it more has to do with the community. While I am a patron and I get responses from everyone and Goodwin on my comments, there’s still that disconnect of being on the internet, so part of it doesn’t feel real if that makes sense. Hearing my name out loud really helps me understand that I am truly part of a community, and that feels great. Or maybe I just need to touch some grass or something.

Chris Sharpe

I'm glad! Thank you for saying so

Alex G

Here's hoping this never becomes relevant lol

"I'm not above crime" - A Goodwin, 2022

_ scüp

Idk if you’ve ever seen it but the way you answered the first question just sort of reminded me of YuYu Hakusho tbh lol. It’s one of the few shounen combat series I know of (other than Mob) that truly doesn’t have 1 main underlying goal or objective laid out before the protagonist. It’s really just about watching the emotional/developmental journey of the main character and his search for finding out who he truly is, too. Sets it apart from most other series I know and is a delightfully timeless classic

Jake White

Alex, your outlooks and thoughtfulness have really generated some aspirations in me to better myself, and I'm really thankful for the effort you put in to your videos. Thanks!

Sam B

Gonna do sub :)

Alex G

Hey my question got picked! Thanks Goodwin, looking forward to the OVA reaction!

Tyler Seder

Unrelated to MP100 but any confirmation on what version of Kaguya Sama you are going to watch? The announcement post had a lot of support for the sub, but not sure if you were gonna do a poll like with Demon Slayer or just decide yourself.
