That's part of what I like about Reigan :) He is sort of wiser than he lives, if that makes sense, which makes him really exciting. Really it feels like there are 1 or 2 big self-cons happening that would make all the difference. About the girl, the more I think about it the more I think that emotional type is often based on a perceived lack of something. That can be really cool if there are good takeaways from that but really dangerous if there's some subconscious goal to get that feeling for oneself directly from another person, or by trying to prove something to ones self about having those qualities through dating, as opposed to genuinely working on them.

2022-03-27 21:19:34 +0000 UTCFinal comment since I just finished the video: This is a neat detail, Reigen was smoking cigarettes when he first met Mob in that flashback. And since then, we haven't seen him smoking at all A lot of people assume this means Reigen quit (or at least doesn't smoke around Mob) to try and be a good influence I think Reigen is at war with himself too, like you said everything he does is sort of a contradiction to who he is. At least, his job as a conman. He both lies, and gives great wisdom. Helps his client while also failing to help his client. Relies on others like Mob, while also being able to carry himself if he needs to.

I've been really into this girl, but I'm torn on whether my feelings for her are just pure admiration of her character. There's a magnetic force making me feel drawn to her but my brain is fried because it can't decipher what's genuine feelings and what's respect. Can it be both??? I feel like she's succeeding in life where I'm falling short, or we come from similar backgrounds with anxiety but she's still trying her best and succeeding despite it all. I have a lot of respect for that, and have seen myself trying to match that energy. I think ultimately it's good for me, but I don't want my feelings for her to be confused with blanket admiration. Idk. It's like my brain is at war. And it doesn't help that we're already good friends, so obviously there's a huge level of trust and respect there too
