2022-02-12 16:00:31 +0000 UTCHonestly, I missed many things too on my first watch. Watching reactions after each episode helped me with the misunderstanding I had. So I understand why sometimes you will miss some things. The show makes it really easy to miss things. Silco's relationship with Jinx at first seemed sexual to me too. She literally sits in his lap and his face is so close to her face when he 'baptizes' her. Not to mention the eye contact. I think it represents a toxic relationship.

There is one hundred percent something sus about Jinx and Silco’s relationship, but in the show we haven’t been given any reasons to think there relationship is anything other than Father/Daughter other than the “fake out” things you linked. I totally thought he was grooming her as well, but thank god it turns out not to be true at all!

Jayce is such an interesting character in my eyes, simply because he foils off of so many characters in different ways, like Viktor, Mel, and Heimerdinger. Silco is also great, because these episodes have shown as so much more than just some mustache twirly villain. His voice actor enthralls me almost as much as much as Grayson (the old police chief).

He is obviously on the council not because he has family power or money but rather intellect and being a city founder.

Obviously its all a masterpiece but some of the scenes in this episode will just forever stick with me in my mind. Can’t say that about a lot of shows to be honest.

After the officer drugged her and said he would kill Vi If Silco found her he made her dissappear. Hence her having ZERO record in the prison no prior crimes, no reason for jail, and no info on her person. He put her there and kind just kept her in the prison. She grew up basically the last of her teen years in that prison thought to be dead.hence why the brothel mistress was also shocked. The story is around town was Vander and the kids died/disappeared she said so herself. Now why Silco didn't look for her knowing she was alive who knows (all he knew is she was hurt and in the area but found Jinx instead) for now but I feel like that part of the story was lost on you because at first you thought she was the one in the air raid and was sent to prison (she wasnt) then you mentioned she must be on hand times but yet 0 record of doing crime.

But yeah the relationship itself isn’t sexual and Silco really see’s her as a daughter. I was definitely holding my breath a few times though.

He literally fathers her almost every scene via discipline, anger for loud music, teaching life lessons, making her sit and pay attention. He never approaches her sexually smh
