Oh no, Demon Slayer? I mean I do like it but it's mostly just stunning animation, well-written score and cool character designs. I think the story itself is full of as* pulling, recycled plotlines and plotholes. Some of the characters are likeable and well-written, but that's it. I'm not saying it's bad, I just don't think it's that good either. But I do believe the show is going to give you quite a lot of views. (And stay away from the English dub :D)

Would love to see you watch Violet Evergarden. Only I think 12 episodes so it would be fast. Their are movies to watch too but the show is amazing and more like Frbasket.

Steins Gate is a great show with less action, it would be a worthy option to replace fruits basket. Tbh, by the end of the show the characters felt the most like real people (or at least there was a lot of character depth) in any show I've watched, and it was really sad when it was finally over. I think you'd like it

Hi, i just wanted to make the trimestral reminder that, having seen your videos since midnight gospel (and some prior ones later) I'm 100% sure that Assasination Classroom is made for you, eventough i consider it great is not my favorite show (not very far tho), but i single it out because knowing how you like mentor stories and to get something out of shows i think that you will laugh, reflect and cry with that show. Despite the name is actually a lighthearthed show but with some enjoyable deep moments. The reason i write this is because it will never win a vote against shonnen shows because fights gets more votes than stories but still. I know you have it on your radar i just wanted to remind you about it. Have a nice day.

Haikyu is great. Also volleyball is the most boring looking sport to some, including me but thank god I gave this anime a go. Its still true that volleyball can be hard to watch because its very fast paced and doesnt exactly look flashy if you dont know whats going on. Ofc anime slows stuff down and the characters are amazing

Not sure if this is a 1:1 replacement for Fruits Basket, but I'm throwing my hat in the ring for Haikyu!! Although technically characterized as a sports anime, it's very character-driven, explores interesting/relatable themes, has great animation, is relatively more grounded in realism, and is (dare I say) inspiring in a similar way the other shows you've reacted to are. I was surprised it ended up in the top 5, so it seems like I'm not the only one who thinks it would be a great addition!

If you want something in the vein of fruits basket I’d suggest once more The ancient magus bride. Their are very big differences between the shows but both go into some similar ideas like human experiences, the ways people live, ect.

Violet Evergarden and Your Lie in April would probably be the closest to Fruits Basket thematically from the list of potential votes. But those are just the two I know. I haven't seen a lot on this list. Also, just a general question. Have the final episodes of Fruits Basket not been posted yet? Or can I just not see them because I'm a lower tier patron? Cause it only goes up to episode 3x10 for me

I can’t wait to watch demon slayer!! New era alert. Also, if you’re looking to leave room for something in the vein of Fruits Basket, i recommend NANA or A Lull in the Sea. Both deal with lots of character development and difficult topics. NANA’s a darker drama though, and the characters are so realistic. A Lull in the Sea is lighter but has a plot twist that raises interesting questions and commentary.

Please just keep hunterxhunter in the back of your mind as an option. It is perfect for the way you upload videos and how you react to shows. It’s really a shame that whatever happens to have aired most recently is what wins these polls. It happened with MHA too. I like all these shows btw, I just like HxH more lol
