Just started watching Demon Slayer because it looks like it’s going to win. I’ve been meaning to watch it for months and months but couldn’t get past the first episode for some reason. I’m glad this gave me a reason to push through because I’m really enjoying it now. The animation in particular is amazing. I can see why it’s so popular:)

If Demon Slayer, Mob Psycho, and JJK retain the top 3 spots, I would almost recommend Goodwin watch all 3, and here's why: Arcane has 9 episodes currently, Demon Slayer will have 38 episodes (plus the movie) by the time season 2 ends, JJK has 24 episodes, and Mob has 25. So if one slot was Arcane then Demon Slayer, and the other slot was JJK+Mob (whichever gets more votes goes first), then he'd be through all 4 shows at nearly the exact same time, and would be able to put up another poll for the next 2.

Demon Slayer and JJK are both fantastic but I feel like they both tend to be focused on their action sequences and fantastic animation over meaningful character growth and deep concepts. DON'T GET ME WRONG, THEY BOTH HAVE THAT, but not to the degree I'd like to see Goodwin analyze. Either way, they'll be good to watch with him, I just think there was some more potential in some of the other choices. Nevertheless, I'm excited. AOT and Arcane are both great, so it won't hurt to switch it up with some eye-candy in between. Hopefully we get stuff like Mob, Re:Zero, and Vinland later down the road.

For your next poll maybe you could make two seperate ones. One for the more battle shounen, and one for the more reflective, emotional ones. Because most of anime watchers are shounen people, they will likely almost always win. But by splitting them, you give the people who prefer the latter something to enjoy, as well as getting more diversity for your own watching pleasure!

Guys guys guys....we just did a 60+ episode SHOUJO ROMANCE with less than 300,000 added users on MyAnimeList.... No other react channel picks shows like that, they always do polls for every selection and always pick the most popularly chosen show. We have already been spoiled. The people have decided they want to see buff dudes punch giant demonic monsters in two different shows!!! If thats what the people want, than let them have it!

I would normally agree about not wanting all the hype shounen...but we did just get 60 episode Fruits Basket which is a literal Shoujo Romance LOL we got spoiled with that show and should totally accept some good views and higher patreon numbers for a little while cuz goodwin definitely took a views hit just to watch more compelling content. 99% of other content creators would never make that choice.

I think these are two really good shows that deal with alot of things that Goodwin does on his channel talking about life,morality,good,bad and everything in between! Plus Cobra Kai is a live action show that we havne'tr seen on his channel yet! I also want to second what every one is saying about Shonen being super Popular and Hope he picks a varity of shows to choose from. Casue while Deamon Slayer,Mob Psycho and jujutsu aren't my cup of tea i would hate if these all dmoinated the channel because they are simply more popular. Usually Shonen have the same take as far as stories goes and while its cool to get a different take every now and then like My hero academia does IMO. It gets stale after awhile.. : /. Intrigue! Personally I think that it might be wise next time to maybe split up the polls by genre? If you had a MHA replacement poll and a Fruba replacement poll, and the shounen series were all pitted against each other in one, I feel like the Fruba poll would allow you to co react to a show that feels different in a way that you'd enjoy. Honestly, I say this because shounen isn't really my genre and the poll is definitely going to have 2 shounen winners [and multiple shounen runner ups]. Obvi you like shounen and a bunch of other people do too, but by the time that the next poll happens there will be a new shiny shounen everyone loves that'll win [with maybe one classic shounen pulling through]. I kinda think that's a shame bc I really value the reactions that you do to slower more character based shows, and basic popularity polls are never going to turn those out for you

Also it's very disappointing when my favourite reactors all just go with the same 5 shows and don't expand to anything just because it's what the big reactors are doing, and none of the really good stuff ever gets watched because it's the same stuff over and over. There are shows that I would love for you to react to like Mob Psycho, Clone Wars, Young Justice, and etc. BUT with how you react to shows and how much you take time to breakdown and delve into the meaning of things, then in my opinion Rezero is probably the show I’d love most for you to react to, since it’s at times left me with a lot to think about and I would love to watch your take on the series.
