I know a lot of people don't particularly like this arc, including me, but I like rewatching along side you to think about different perspectives and details I wasn't initially thinking about the first time around. I think that upon the first time we meet Tonari and the gang I was a little off put just because: 1, she tricked them into getting on the boat and leading them to this terrible place, and 2, we just came off a tragic loss of Gugu (a pretty tough act to follow). I really liked your thought about not everyone can be Marchs and Gugus. These kids obviously have such a different outlook on life because of their environment and how they grew up which I think Fushi can learn a lot from.

It really is such a miracle a show as good as Avatar was written when it was for such a young audience, transformed so many minds on important issues. I genuinely believe that show made the world a better place by teaching a generation of children actually good values.
