LMFAO sore loser

tanasia

I mean...who doesn't? Or maybe its just me and Tetsu Tetsu lmao

benj

Okay Tetsutetsu, we get it. You love Kendo lol

BubbleTea

I was thinking the same thing. Like Momo could have won against the big hand girl if she made a gun 😂

Hot take: I thinki Mushroom Girl took this way too far during this round; If tokyoami didn’t have such a good moral compass he could have easily gone down to her level he could have had Dark Shadow Seriously Harm her in an attempt to knock her out. Yes I get this is a training exercise and they are supposed to treat each other as villains. But this is the part where I feel like “They” the teachers didn’t explain and why Class A got caught off guard. Obviously there are different levels of “Villain” as weird as it is to say there is a difference between a man stealing a little old lady’s Purse and going up against a “Yakuza” member. Yes Class A lost this round but they had a much better moral compass at least Tokyoami did Class B took advantage of the fact that this was an “excercise” and essentially made the same mistake Deku and Uraka did in Season 1. They could get away with being Reckless to the point of almost murdering one of their classmates in order to win this. Which is why i got seriously pissed off when Monoma called My Dude a “Stupid Bird” Like he can go screw off it seemed to me like Class B whole point was to “WIN” at all cost and even though they “WON” the round they didn’t “WIN” In my book.

John Carrizales

you made my day man. Thank you for the top tier content again

Emman Reed

I'm really glad that the way they animated tokoyami coughing wasn't cursed looking cuz it looked cursed in the manga XD "is it darkness your searching for? Then you can borrow my cloak." oooo that was a nice line i loved that also I JUST FINISHED EPISODE 11 AND OH MY GOD NO ONE WHO ISN'T AHEAD OR HAS READ THE MANGA IS READY I AM SO EXCITED everything is amazing <3

Brimmy

https://youtu.be/uejrQ0_-6Mg I haven't watched this all but the video title and premise was funny to me. ASMR simlish, that's it. Humanity has peaked

Nick

True, this is also definitely my least favorite of the fights and it was still great.

benj

When she was listing off the different mushroom names I thought she was speaking simlish

Nick

The thing about experience is that some of class B has had experience as well. Rmb during the training camp arc it was Kendo and Tetsu Tetsu that sorta saved a lot of people by taking out the gas guy. Not to mention another one of them saved Momo from the Nomu. I get the natural instinct to root for 1A since they’re the ones we have been following but the thing is on paper class B isn’t really inferior to A in any way. They are both in the hero course of the best hero school and a few of them have also got in through recommendation like todoroki and Momo. I’m sure they have skilled people as well but they just haven’t been placed in enough situations of crises like 1A (to be fair the crisis situations 1A has been in are like mostly coincidental so it’s out of their control) to show off their stuff and as such this is the first time we are seeing them in action which i think is cool since some of them have pretty powerful quirks

Andre Tan

I hated that class B won this match but they have to win some. I will say this is my least favorite of all the fights though. All the other 3 fights are certified BANGERS.

Skyler Anderson

I'm pretty sure going all out and not holding back is encouraged in these type of exercises. Remember back in s2 when the students were up against the teachers for their tests? All Might didn't hold back at all and tossed Bakugou and Midoriya around like rag dolls. Then, in that one filler episode about love, the team failed the exercise because they didn't treat it like the real deal when All Might laughed and got away. And in the first episode of this season, Midoriya held back on attacking Tamaki (Sun Eater) and was lectured by his upperclassman about how that was a mistake and that he shouldn't hold back against even a "fake" villain. So I don't think U.A. staff thinks Mushroom girl (Kiniko?) crossed the line. Even tho I agree it's pretty dark.

Shark-ira

If you want to see more of class 1B getting smacked down, you've got nothing to worry about...

Nathan

I remember you were watching the sports festival arc while this arc was airing, and it was so fun watching your comments and predictions play out, specifically for the non 1A students

Kameron Y

I'm sure you'll be very glad for the murderous intent of Mushroom girl in the future 😂 imagine if she'd been part of the Yakuza raid

Muchymozzarella

brute force of that muchroom in the lung def too much to handle

Kamolak

TBF to your expirence angle. These students really haven't had that much experience outside of the regular curriculum besides Tokoyami. Momo, Hagakura and Ayoama didn't do too much during the usj attack. At most Momo made a blanket so Kaminari could zap all the villains near by. Then Momo didn't do anything but star in a commercial for her mentor ship. Also the three were pretty out of the fight during the training camp attack. Kendo did more there stopping the poison gas villain. And yeah Tokoyami was the only one to do an internship. I would also argue Tokoyami did the best in this training exercise for class 1A.

Sage

Not gonna lie, I was looking forward to seeing your reaction on class 1B winning this fight because I love many of the class 1B students so your slander hurt my soul haha. I am looking forward to your reaction to the next battle with my underrated boy from class 1B Juzo Honenuki, who btw also got into UA through recommendations (he was shown in the lineup of people who got into UA through recommendation in an episode of season 3, I believe it is mentioned again next episode but I'm not sure so I just wanted to mention it).

Jenny bete

Someone's gotta balance the scales

Alex G

That would be the 2nd time this season that the mercy thing came up

Alex G

I feel like 1A winning every one wouldn't be as interesting, although I'm sure My Hero could have made it interesting, but there needs to be stakes for each match and I think showing a loss for 1A adds stakes. Plus it was more Kendo's strategy versus Momo's strategy than brute strength versus plan. Remember Kendo got real world experience too so that still backs the real world versus school theory, although I think practical and school education working together is best.

Emma Root

Class 1-B fans coming out in full force I see

benj

There are a lot of moments in the show where kids could've easily killed each other, I just think this moment gives people a more visceral reaction because it's not a conventional fighting style

Francesca White

Take the L ya sore loser lol

Jake White

lmfao yep ive been waiting as well, his non stop slander of them was super funny in the last couple reactions.

benj

Kendo in the thumbnail looking great as usual. These battles are so much fun, they give pretty much the whole cast a moment to shine, even if some are shorter than others. My favorites in 1-B are definitely Kendo and Tetsu-Tetsu Tetsu-Tetsu.

benj

I remember how heavily criticized this part of the arc was. A lot people feeling that 1B was being overly aggressive. NTM the fact that Kiniko could’ve easily killed Tokoyami.

Matthew Richson

The obvious takeaway is probably "No, 1A doesn't have this in the bag, anything can happen!", but more broadly speaking, I'd say it's about how they've grown? Like, how does Momo deal with this loss compared to last time, or how Tokoyami thought grabbing them would be enough, instead of incapacitating them, which could also count as a sign of inexperience. Reminds me of Deku in the first episode, actually. I admit, I totally have a 1A bias as well, so I think it's important that 1B gets to show their stuff, so we can still take them seriously as rivals. But hey, I never thought you'd root for Invisible Girl of all people, so that's neat! ;)

kingafreund

Lol now that I think of it that is kind of a contradiction on his philosophy for the show 😂

Francesca White

You're being as bad as Vlad King lol Stop with the biased commentary!!!

Jo

The lesson of this episode is that even the greatest mind can be dragged down by a couple of deadweights. Oh, and also that mercy is for losers

Caio Miranda

You need to accept that Class 1-B is great too. Just accept it. Lol. Your concept that there is "no one Symbol of Peace" is true even when thinking about Class 1-A. They need support from their peers, and that is only possible by Class 1-B actually being sufficient to support them. Lol.

Kelsey Roberts

this is probably my favourite match, or at least up there, it just go's to show that quirks that seem weak like mushrooms or big fist don't matter if you know how to use them well

ErrantSara

Does it still exist?

Jason

i was excited for this match so you would stop slandering class b lol, they're really tough

Francesca White

That is a great way to use a seemingly weak quirk like growing mushrooms... i wonder why World Hunger still exist with quirks like those
