Going back to this episode just cause I wanted to rewatch this reaction and it brought up a good point to make for just the rest of the series that people get confused on. The writer of the show actually talked about what it means to go past 100% of their power. He described the real world parallels of when mother's children get stuck under cars and their adrenaline is so pumped up that they can lift cars when obviously normally they can't do that. The same kinda goes for one for all or anyones power and he's going beyond that limit that his body has set for him. Kinda a cool thing that the writer himself noted that. But just something to keep in mind going forward in the series whenever stuff like that occurs with any characters

2021-05-11 02:31:33 +0000 UTCWe are still seeing the story from the bright eyes perspective of Deku, which is why that sad aspect of it hasn't really been explored. in the beginning allmight was already pretty down on himself. he puts on a brave face but i get the feeling he is really struggling to accept his situation

I think you bring up a very valuable point about all the pressures and hopes being on All-Might's shoulders. He may be the Symbol of Peace, but how can that be sustainable as a society. Excited to see how if these get explored further.
