FMAB Q&A!
Added 2021-04-13 03:12:15 +0000 UTCAt long last! The FMAB Q&A is here (on YouTube):
A quick note: I only answered FMAB related questions here but I will answer the non-FMAB stuff in the monthly Q&A soon.
I also tried to answer as many as possible but realized I missed some two-parter questions.

2021-04-14 17:56:17 +0000 UTCIs it just AoT reactions from now on? Really enjoyed the content so far, but that series does not interest me.

2021-04-14 01:04:38 +0000 UTCRight like its essentially an entirely different anime since it doesn't follow the manga there's loads of differences after a certain point

2021-04-13 08:15:10 +0000 UTCIt's been a great ride with FMA:B! Loved hearing your thoughts and feelings on the show. Also just wanted to say that I would really love to see you react to FMA 2003 at some point, so I really hope you do decide to react to it instead of just a comparison after watching it on your own. I think you would have a lot of really good insights on the darker tone of the story and the direction of different character arcs

2021-04-13 04:40:18 +0000 UTCOh, in regards to your question "did we ever find out the value of a Human soul", I actually thought about that and wrote something out a couple days ago, though it's a bit more lighthearted than waxing philosophical. So, there's that looming question in FMAB, or at least it's said explicitly in the dub: "What could equal the value of a Human soul?" and I believe it's supposed to be this unsolvable existential question with no real answer, but... You could literally find out. Philosopher's Stones are made of Human souls - that's what is used to bypass Equivalent Exchange and "create something out of nothing." And we know Philosopher's Stones can run out of energy. So, couldn't you just create a Philosopher's Stone with a single human sacrifice, use it to create as much of a material as possible, and when it runs out, you'll know how much of that material a single Human soul is worth?
