After finishing the base armour days ago, I still got the clothing to do which took me a while… But it was the skulls which took me the most time…
I thought about using just photos and edit it with photoshop, but it just didn’t mix well with the anime character… so after a while I decided to just pain it myself… it was a long tiring process, but I think in the end the result is pretty nice~
As for the background I also thought of a photo, but it was hard to find a photo which has this many skulls since normal catacombs has a lot of rocks in the mix, also it was hard to find the right angle.. so in the end I just drew 1 skull and copy and pasted it all over… then just add some little cracks and details to make it slightly different haha….. I hope this works…
In the end just a big trials and error on the lighting and background, overall I think the result is quite nice…
