So… My Patreon Account got temporary suspended…
Added 2018-06-30 05:13:33 +0000 UTC2days ago after I was just working on the Nitocris drawing, then suddenly I got a new email in my patreon email folder. At first I thought, “yay a new comment on the post I upload last night~”, but instead an email saying my patreon account got suspended!!
Went full on OMG… and went read and reply the email as soon as I can so I can get this fix fast, and with the support team being nice and helpful, I manage to get the fix the account and now my account is back up again~
As you probably can guess, the reason of getting suspended was due to Patreon's guidelines of public post must not contain any adult content. I thought I already took away all the public post a month ago, but apparently a few slip through from my early months when I first start patreon back in end 2016.
Another problem is public post must not contain implied nudity, which I found this odd and way too strict… This means nipple stickers, pasties, hearts covering, and even go as far as open leg poses or squatting poses with clothing, is all prohibited… Patreon is playing it super safe, which I found this really odd as they already implement age verification to all the adult content accounts. I can see why nude isn’t allow, but implied nudity shouldn’t really be a problem in my opinion. But if they want to play it super safe then us creators will just have to live with it.
From now on most of my post on patreon will be cropped, or simply set to patron only, so hopefully I won’t get suspend again in the future XD
