I am sure you noticed but they have been spoiling some stuff the last couple episodes and people (myself included) are a little concerned it will escalate soon.

This whole section is so brutal. The Female Titan is so terrifying and even the deaths of the fodder characters are painful not only in the ways she kills them, but just by the fact that humanity’s population is so limited. Each death is so demoralizing and existentially dreadful haha

I'm in the minority that actually prefers the Trost Arc slightly to this one but they are both 10/10 obvi. I guess this is mostly because of context from later seasons, but the Female Titan at first viewing in these episodes really does take the show up a level.

Update: I read one of your comments here, I agree that this arc elevated the show. It introduces some great mystery elements that it actively tracks episode to episode, as opposed to season/series long mysteries. It feels extremely satisfying and the action/dialogue are both top notch here. Also never thought about how seriously Jean was literally proposing mutiny there lmao and your commentary on it was pretty hilarious. He does not like taking orders, for real

@hays collins Please no spoilers. I have seen people be pretty rude to you about it which I don’t think is really right, but I think they are coming from a genuine place. Spoilers for AoT can make the experience worse for certain people. I got spoiled on several things and was mostly okay, but a couple details really decreased the value of some episodes and story beats, since I already knew them. That being said, I understand your excitement about it, I try to drop very vague hints in the comments sometimes but I make sure to never directly say anything that would let someone piece it together. Just please be careful about what you comment especially here on Patreon I personally think the people being rude to you about it is slightly overboard but they do have a point, I relate to their frustration
