Similar to ATLA or the Dragon Prince, but with some anime elements sprinkled in, I would love to see you react to it at some point if you haven't seen it already. I'm pretty sure you get a ton of requests, but I'm just gonna throw it out there :D. Great reactions btw. You're the first person I subscribed to on Patreon and I'm not planning to unsubscribe anytime soon.

Yeah there was the timeskip now but he actually grew a little bit every episode too - in the beginning he was just a little baby haha Also Ed choking on his sandwich is one of the best moments haha

2021-02-23 05:12:53 +0000 UTCLater on I also thought a lot about what Ed said, about how wanting too much just ends in disaster. It's an interesting thing for Ed to say and also makes a lot of sense. There's a lot that he wants, and I imagine it's gotta be overwhelming especially in light of what he's facing. This is weird but sometimes I feel like when I want something too badly, it starts to seem impossible and then I start distancing myself from it to protect myself. So in that context I like what Greed said even more, telling Ed that he has the right to want what he wants.

Okay, first off this new outro is amazing and it has some pretty great editing too, the way it seamlessly transitions to that sort of animated star footage, then the cactus (I assume) dropping lines about the universal law, and Ed having a heart attack. Might be my favorite outro you’ve made. I also love what you said about the sins, you hit it right on the money. I think it’s really interesting to hear that from Greed, it’s one of the most humanizing scenes any of the homunculi have had especially when you take into account all the inner conflict Greed’s been going through recently.

Since, you know, Mustang mentioned that she could hide an entire battalion here, and right after that she said "I rather you have "IT" if something happened to me." Also, the group of people that blew up Bradley's train are General Grumann's men who served under Mustang during the Ishvalan War. They have been through hell and back with Mustang, and are extremely loyal. (more info in the manga)

They also play with the framing to accentuate the effect, especially when they're in Winry's room together. When they're alone together throughout the show, Ed always seems to be animated to be physically more impressive than he is (Winry's perception of him, perhaps?)
