The cut Annie part is one of the only big changes, aside from some visual quality in certain scenes. But even the regular version looks fantastic, I never understand why people insist everyone has to watch the Blu-ray version, I feel like it would be better to watch that if you revisit the show

It’s also wild that the last 9 episodes have been focused on this Trost arc, but it also made the conflict feel much more real to me if that makes sense It’s pretty much been... probably a single day from episode 5 all the way to now (when they jump 2 days ahead halfway through the episode)

Also people talking about the different versions, yeah this show is pretty wild at least to me in its lack of organization and standardization of what is official and essential material and what isn't. There are so many different ways to watch this show, Blu-Ray versions, Uncut/Simulcast, Dub/Sub, and probably around a dozen OVA's that some of which are borderline main show material and than the rest is mostly filler. It's wild out here, I'm also trying to do my best being a newbie to this show.

In regards to the show, I think that this and Full Metal Alchemist are two sides of the same coin (in more ways than one). Hopefully you can keep that in mind when watching the show. Love that this is your newest watch. One of the greatest TV shows of all time.

2021-02-14 02:21:49 +0000 UTCYeah I 100% agree, season 1 is good but it's 100% the weakest of them all. Each season improves on that last in my opinion. My personal favorite season is 3 Part 2 but season 4 is creeping up there.
