That make since you do have to edit lol that's why I asked I couldn't imagine only watching one episode every 2 days it gets to juicy at parts lol

Jay Crigler

Definitely, there are a lot of characters who can carry the weight, especially when they're together. Lots of interesting dynamics.

Alex G

Typically I watch two episodes at a time which makes things a little better lol. Mostly it's just a function of time cause I also have to edit them

Alex G

I love the occasional Meow's during the videos recently, a certain feline wants to be YouTube famous

benj

AOT's rating won't drop, Season 3 part 2 is still at a 9.17 after being out for a year so.

benj

@Dominic Caciappo OMG! Only 2 chapters left. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Yusuf

@enes y As an AoT manga reader, you have no idea what you are talking about.

Yusuf

I was reading the wiki on envy. It got so confusing as the article was 'they' to refer to him. Haha

Yusuf

LOL @ thinking AOT will hype down, not sure if you read manga or not but I doubt that is going to happen.

Dominic Caciappo

There will be a small time skip between episodes 45 and 46. Make sure you watch the end credits of ep. 45.

Ruma Risto

Hey this is offtopic, but after FMAB you should really start getting into HxH. FMAB, Gintama and Hunter x Hunter are the top 3 rated animes of all time at MAL for a reason (I think Steins gate is up there too and AoT‘s rating will most likely drop too after the hype boils down)

enes y

This show is so great because even without a main character like Ed in an episode it doesn't feel empty. On both of my watches I didn't even realize till the episode was over that we didn't see him at all.

joe martin

How do you not watch more then one episode at a time I get uploading them one at a time but there are so many cliffhangers I had to binge this

Jay Crigler

I also think that the Father and the homunculi are just lying to themselves about how much humanity they truly have

KJ Gaona

I am so happy we will get some envy again - they are definitely my favorite Homunculus especially towards the finale

Alice 1510

Father gave him his sloth and his geometry

Alex G

Everyone talking about Hohenheim and Pride, meanwhile I'm just impressed Sloth somehow dug a tunnel into the shape of a perfect circle

Noah C

Yeah it feels like there's been a big shift in that direction

Alex G

Lol yeah definitely digging into Father there

Alex G

The finale basically started with episode 40 in my opinion. Everything from here to the end is just one amazing event after another.

E_lincoln

"Tell him Slave 23 will be dropping by soon." Hohenheim doesn't even want to use the name Father gave him. It's like saying "yes, I am Slave 23, and you are still a little dwarf in the flask. Know your place, trash!"

Joey Joseph Jojoson

Well it does make sense, they’re technically fighting a very “cold” war with Briggs lmao sorry about that one (I know the Cold War was many years later obviously but don’t poke holes in the joke just enjoy the ride like any movie)

Nick

I was thinking about that too. We've seen Pride / Selim outdoors, but then again I guess it's a limited range. Maybe the weirdest location we've seen him is the library. I'd need to see a map of Central City lol

Alex G

Lol that is true, despite Pride's claims of no anger, he definitely showed a lot of anger symptoms. Not sure how different each of the homunculi are, but Lust did consider herself human to a certain extent, so seems like they're definitely capable of a full range, just dominated by one trait, as Thrak said.

Alex G

Yes! That is something I love and that many of my favorite shows and games have in common. We see the events unfold through certain characters but at a certain point you step back and realize this is a much older conflict. There's something very satisfying about that.

Alex G

Yeah it occurred to me that there's no reason not to add descriptions to these videos as well. I'm glad they didn't forget about Rose! She was able to move forward after all

Alex G

I was always confused about the Pride in the flask thing. I guess his shadows can't go outside the tunnel if his real body isn't in the tunnel? We've seen Pride/Selim use his shadows above ground against Hawkeye. Regardless, that little boy OP as hell.

MooTuu

Drachma is early 20th Century Russia confirmed.

T-mo

Initially I was confused as to why the homunculi were showing aspects of other emotions/sins, but I think it’s less of them just being one thing and more so them being controlled by one central emotion/sin. Like Envy gets mad, but he is also incredibly envious in everything he does. Same with Pride, he clearly got mad, but it’s pretty much overwhelmingly shadowed (pun intended) by his hubris

Nick

Update: The finale is definitely long. You’re gonna have a hard time with some of the cliffhangers, BUT luckily some of the show’s absolute best episodes are near the end. My two favorite eps from the entire anime are 53 and 54 Also I love that Rose listened to what Ed told her about how she has to keep moving forward. I think the quote was “you’ve got two good legs, so use ‘em.” She took it to heart

Nick

I was waiting for you to remember Rose lol, I could tell there was no recognition at first. For someone who claims to not feel anger Pride sure does grind his teeth a lot; Hohenheim knew just what buttons to push to get on his nerves.

Etsch

Hohenheim's declaration of war is one of my favourite scenes from the show. It shows a side to him that you don't really see much of; he's easily able to get under Pride's skin with a handful of words and it's all-round just badass. The more I rewatch this show the more convinced I become that this is actually Hohenheim's tale rather than Ed and Al's. Great reaction and as always, see you for the next one!

A Suresh

The description being on these patreon videos is a welcome change, since you often include some pretty great gems in them, so thank you for that! Although I usually go to the YouTube videos to like anyway
