Ah, I'm sure you would like this episode!

Jackie

As of right now I've seen through episode 9.

Alex G

How far along are you?

Purple Dawn

Thanks! I did see the ending in this episode it just didnt make it into the video :) And I've seen episode 8 too so I know where it comes into play haha

Alex G

Hey Alex! There was an after credit scene for this episode but for convenience's sake, here are the list of episodes to look out for: 6, 8, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49. Also, the endings of episodes 45, 54, 63, and 64 are different from the usual OST! Can't wait for the next video!

Jackie

Thank you! I'd be happy with either Amrstrong or Iroh in my life, or both lol. Strong and capable, but caring.

Alex G

Without having any understanding of the earlier show or the manga I can say these episodes don't feel rushed to me. They feel packed for sure, but in a good way.

Alex G

Everyone needs a Major Armstrong in their lives. Along with an uncle Iroh. Great reaction as always. I like that you're able to pick up on these things without the show going out of its way to explain it. Thanks, Alex!

They’re not bad but the pacing is very different from the rest of the series so it creates this weird jarring feeling for some. Plus the storylines for the first 10ish are rushed, for a good reason but still Either way yeah I don’t think any episodes of this show are bad

Nick

Yeah, I feel like in all aspects FMAB is a show that gets better and better. I really dig the music in it. I think I still prefer the 2003 soundtrack by a bit because of tracks like Brothers, Parting, and Heavenly Spirit, etc. I think the 2003 show has better OSTs but FMAB has better openings and endings

Kassandra

when people say the first 10ish eps are bad its sooo exaggerated. these are really thought provoking eps

NitrousOxide19

huge facts

Winry is a great character.

benj

I can't even imagine how much manpower it takes to even make a real actual stone D:

Brimmy

Right that makes sense. I think Winry has said that she lost her parents in the war.

Alex G

A little detail you might've missed when they gave background on the Ishvalan Civil War is how close Resembool (Ed and Al's home town) is to Ishval. They are neighbouring regions in Amestris, so you can imagine how affected the people of Resembool (including Ed, Al, Winry, and her parents) were during the Civil War.

Aaron Ong

Interesting...

Alex G

Winry grew on me a lot this episode.

Alex G

I really enjoyed this episode as well, it really gives you a perspective on how enormous this war affected even the smallest of towns. And I did wonder about his dad outcome as well, but something that keeps bugging me is that small aside Ed had when he visited the grave of his mother when he got startled and look towards the mountains, I wonder what was that about.

Juan Valencia

honestly i always love when we get to see winry, she becomes one of my fav characters later on

Francesca White

I seriously love the music in this episode. I mean this show just has great music, but particularly the song when they’re traveling on the train. It’s called Stepping Along. Really like how the OST uses these almost Gregorian chant esque elements to music as well when one of the themes of the show is about religion. And luckily the music gets better and better, like most other things with FMAB lol
