Just to clarify, the letter that General Amaya had wasn't the same one that the king gave you Callum. They both had the king's seal.

His way HAS to be the right way and any attempt to dissuade him just further solidifies it in his mind that he's in the right.

Sure, she has her own motives, but she's a genuinely great person. I think Callum should learn something about telling lies. I think you're right in that Ezran's instincts are usually pretty spot on, he's intuitive and wise beyond his years.
