Korra Season 2 episode 12 Reaction (extended)

Things are about to get a whole lot more purple.

Korra Season 2 episode 12 Reaction (extended)

Comments

That's what I am wondering. I need my fix! I am assuming Monday and Tuesday will be the last of the season.

ComicalSkate

When will the next two episodes be released????

Ro Cort

Man Mako and Bolin really are terrible at breaking up with water tribe girls

malikparah

Bumi exudes Sokka energy. I love it.

Nick Deano

We didn't need the civil war stuff. The book is called spirits, not water tribe, or civil war. So its meant to be about things like this. Its not the writers fault because of all the screw jobs from Nickelodeon, but they shouldn't have confused people like you who enjoyed the civil war plot.

only reason i think Season 3 is better than the other seasons is cuz it focuses less on korra and more on everyone else season 4 just makes it so i stop giving her crap altogether for reasons i will not say as they are spoilers for the goodwin o.o

Brimmy

I understand, but season 3 and 4 definitely make me fall in love with her and make her my favorite character from the Avatar universe!

Brandon Golpe

I'm loving my name at the end of these credits! each morning I sit down with my coffee put this on watch once maybe twice. I see my name, do a finger snap and smile to myself. who knew a miserable old sod like me ( stingy too lol) would become such a fan boy haha! money well spent sir! I love this episode, I love what they did with the constraints they had. this show sooths my soul and your commentary and analysis is bitchin! the intro and outro added bits give me life! and i feel like im on this journey with you =] loving it all man your really great at this

James Berry

Favorite parts of this episode are the plane and sky bison infiltration and then of course Bumi saving the day in a crazy way that no one would believe

Official Jrem

My issues with this whole finale aside: I gotta admit the visuals of Vaatu being released and his malevolent laugh are pretty gnarly.

Aidan Pullen

Yes every min I wait too see U upload never been such a fan of a reactor so much

Lil Lexz

kinda random but the next couple episodes have the best looking/animated korra of the show (apart from season 4) !

NitrousOxide19

Honestly I’m just excited for season 3 and can’t wait for it.

It honestly disappoints me, since aside from it's rushed nature, and very obviously having to come out of not knowing it was gonna even be a 2nd season, Book 2 had a lot of cool concepts and ideas that could have been so much better had they had more episodes to flesh them out, Korra's pent up anger with Tenzin and her training, Jinora's spiritual connection, Raava & Vaatu, etc.

WolfWarrior623

Now the real fun begins. What I always found interesting was the concept of Unalaq's plan to fuse with Vaatu to become a Dark Avatar. I think the concept itself is cool as hell, but never necessarily thought something like that would be needed. I've seen a lot of people debate whether The Avatar could be a dark avatar, and I've seen quite a few say no, but I think that again came into the misinterpretation that Raava is inherently good. I think that it's entirely possible that the light spirit of peace & order/the avatar could go dark, just from a different extreme, "how" they choose to keep the world in balance, what "they" define as balance, etc.

WolfWarrior623

Character sorry should of specified XD

Brimmy

The Beginning episodes really destroy what was a good setup for a potentially great Season 2. Instead they just threw out all the plotlines from the first half of the season for the really bad Evil Avatar vs Good Avatar plot. Can't wait for you to get to Season 3 when the show is actually amazing.

benj

the character or the show?

Jupiterninja

I notice you not having much to say these last few episodes. I think it’s because of the rushed nature of this huge plot, and how there isn’t much relatability and believability this season. They definitely rely more on action sequences instead of adding to characters, completely different from all of atla and most of the other seasons of lok. Still, if you focus on animation and voice acting, it’s still very good imo. I wish they had the go ahead for more seasons while writing this so that they can incorporate wan and the spirit world better.

Interesting... We'll see how it goes

Alex G

I think its either the next episode or the episode after where i come to absolutely hate korra I can't wait to see what u think when it happens.

Brimmy

He'd been saving that for a while

Alex G

That's a good evil laugh.

Digital Milan

I know Unalaq is a bit flat compared to someone like Amon or Azula, but I have to admit in my opinion, there's something about his kind of evil that is very enticing. Evil on normal levels like Ozai isn't that interesting, but with Unalaq, it's obvious there's something very wrong with him. Theres a malice in his face when he's fighting. Like when he was beating up his brother, and when he nearly killed Korra in the spirit world. Its sickening, but he clearly enjoys what he does and theres something so entertaining and chilling about that, even though he does lack complexity. As for that purple stuff around the Earth, thats what the threat is if Vaatu wins. Ten thousand years of literal darkness covering the planet. I absolutely cannot wait for your reaction to the next episode. See you then!
