Pricing Adjustments

Greetings, club members!,

We have a couple of announcements for this month. First and foremost, as we’ve done in the past, our team will be taking a month off in June, which means we won’t have any new updates coming out this month. However, we’ve got some exciting things in store, including an upcoming glow-up for everyone’s favourite dragon gal, Alisha, courtesy of an anonymous commissioner! Stay tuned for more from that spicy dragoness in the near future, along with a special update in July.

The second announcement might be a bit tougher to hear, but we trust you’ll be on board with us. Over the past nine amazing years of our games being live, we’ve managed to keep our prices the same across the board while regularly pushing new updates and ensuring our team is paid a decent wage for their efforts. This includes through a global pandemic and assorted economic crises that tightened a lot of belts everywhere. In the past years, we’ve also been hit with rising taxes in our host country of the Netherlands, along with general rising costs and increased costs of living for our team. On top of that, this past year we’ve replaced our aging network hardware to an in-house server, improving game stability and performance. Due to all of this, we’ve determined it’s necessary to finally give our prices a small bump across the board so that we can keep things running, make sure everyone is still being paid fairly, and continue producing the content that you all enjoy.

With that in mind, here’s what the new structure will look like:

Bronze tier will increase from $1 to $1.50
Silver tier will increase from $2.50 to $3.75
Gold tier will increase from $10 to $15

In-game coin bundles will all see a price increase as well in proportion to the Patreon tiers. These changes will come into effect after the June billing cycle, so all current patrons won’t be charged the increased amount until July.

All current Patreon coin rewards will remain the same, however, access to the subscriber exclusive VIP island will change in the future. In the coming months, we will begin to make more Patreon only characters, which will be available at different tiers. We want to offer value to all our patrons, with increasing rewards at higher tiers beyond just the in-game coins. To implement this, Bronze and Silver passes will each get their own Patreon pass accessible areas, while the existing VIP island will become exclusive to Gold pass holders. For the time being, Bronze and Silver pass holders will still have access to the current VIP island as we work on new content. Naturally, Gold and Silver pass holders will have access to the tiers below as well.

We understand that these are some big changes, but we will as ever strive to produce content that you all will love, and we hope you’ll continue to support us as we aim at our exciting new goals! As a small thank you and for a bit of action in June, all of our free seasonal characters will be available for the full month. In addition, the backstage pass for Twyla’s bonus scene will be available for purchase from Samuel in the fountain plaza until June 30th. Enjoy the month, and see you in July!

As always, thank you all for your support of our game, and look forward to more content!

Kind Regards,

I'll be really blunt about this, if you guys struggle to get 1 character date out per month, I don't see that changing so you can provide extra content to higher tiers. At one point there were two updates per month plus the occasional change in Glory Hole characters. Both of those stopped and now updates are coming 1-2 weeks into the following month, which inevitably leads to you guys "skipping" a month to get caught up. If my instincts are right, we "only" get 9-10 updates per year at this point. I get this is a side gig and none of you are likely doing this for a primary income, but the death knell of art as a whole is and always has been the deadlines. Having worked with cover artists to get covers on books for years, I know that's the consistent problem. The work can't only get done when you're "feeling it" and people get irritated when everything is consistently late. As it is, Seiko's third date should've been out a week ago, and it's still not up. Now it'll be released as the "May" update in the middle of June. I suspect most of us are here because the game gives us more than just the furry sex, there's a sense of romance and connection with the characters before the boinking begins. That takes time to put together, but the longer the gaps between content, the more people will drop off and look elsewhere. I don't know if it's a coordination thing between all the creatives, but deadlines have GOT to become a priority or you're going to lose subscribers, particularly if you ask for more money. Now, question for you: does the game store data like which scenes are being most accessed by players? If so, this should be your gauge for what to replicate/expand on rather than doing polls. Polls only get answered by people who see them and bother with them, and they are therefore easily skewed or manipulated. That's how you end up with multiple pegging scenes in a 4-month stretch. Squeaky wheel and all that. Full disclosure, I am a Silver Tier supporter, and will continue to be. But I'd certainly like to see more consistent updates and a broader range of who's getting them, i.e. the Second/Third dates should be in addition to newer characters if possible.

Thank you for your response. We are addressing the concern around content right now. There will be a update about this today.

Furry Beach Club

My main concern is the slowing rate of content updates, and essentially being asked to keep giving more for less (if trends don't change). Multiple monthly updates have been delayed of late for differing reasons, and that is to be expected, delays happen. My concern is this, I am a gold subscriber and while I am willing to absorb the cost increase for the moment (I have enough disposable income at least for now.) I can't help but notice that you are now asking for the same as some subscription services (streaming, MMOs, and other entertainment.) I just hope to see some kind of improvements coming, and I am even willing to let you pick the metrics you want to be graded on. Not only that, but I just know I am not the only one starting to do the normal entertainment hours/dollar math equation in my head after seeing the new prices, especially when the VIP island has languished for months with no updates. I can't justify to myself paying extra for sparse content that I knocked out in less than an hour. Having said that, however, I am excited to see the new VIP island content you have in the pipe.
