Dev Update – Stretching Minigame, New Sprites & More! 🏈🔥

Hey everyone! I’ve got some exciting updates to share about the VN’s progress!

🔹 Stretching Minigame Sneak Peek

First up, a lil preview of the stretching minigame featuring Mason, your muscular horse teammate and football team captain. You can inspect Mason’s body and trigger cutscenes that could affect your relationship with him but be aware as in some cutscenes he leans in way too close. 😳

My goal is to have animated CGs for all the possible interactions, which so far are around fifteen for this minigame, and interactive sprites, as you can see Mason’s lip-syncing during dialogue. 🎬✨

🔹 Travis' New Poses & Expressions

Next, I’ve been working on an early sprite update for Travis, the main character! 🎨✨ I originally planned to wait until the game’s first release for this update, but honestly, I just couldn’t resist—I wanted to make sure Travis leaves a strong impression with how expressive he can be!

Now, he has multiple poses, and each pose comes with a variety of facial expressions to match different moments in the game. 👀

🔹 Music Preview 🎶

Finally, I know I’ve been handling pretty much everything myself, but I also know my limits—and music is definitely one of them! 🎶 Thankfully, someone reached out to help fill that gap. I’m currently working with @bushybuns.bsky.social to bring some music on board for the game, and we’re excited to share a sneak peek at a new track in progress! 🎧✨ It’s still a work in progress, but we’re hoping to bring even more to the table as part of the game’s original soundtrack!
