NOID-MAXXING (#1): A Wake for the Noided Self-Immolator, Ponzi Papers Close Reading, & the Fall of Crypto-Babylon

In which we memorialize the life & times of Max A z z a r e l l o , the parapol Icarus who flew a little too close to the noided sun and self-immolated in front of the Trump hush money trial on Apr. 19th (a date rife w/ conspiracy significance) and conduct a close reading of his Ponzi Papers Substack—for which Danny Casolaro, Dave McGowan, Ghost Stories for the End of the World, TrueAnon, Chapo, etc were points of reference. Max's parapolitical research tastes were still evolving, in fact were getting progressively better. I give an assessment as to whether there's any possibility something more sus was going on w/ his self-immolation (despite his mention of an involuntary hospitalization, the feds being in possession of his laptop 👀, & a 40 day stint in prison stemming from an act of "civil disobedience"... it seems unlikely, beyond the inevitable anti-parapolitics scaremongering propaganda that followed his death). We celebrate Max's conspiracy oeuvre's best qualities to build him up a bit (his takedown of the cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme, his Elite-Universities-as-Mafias thesis, his handling of The Simpsons as mass mind control & predictive programming, and his surprising prescience in a few regards...). We examine his "crypto currency as mass Ponzi scheme economic doomsday device" theory and try to contextualize it within a slightly more historical materialist perspective (not Klonny's strong suit by any means, but we do our best). We lay out the semi oracular power of his blog, including: the groundswell of campus occupations in the weeks since he littered a NYC park w/ his "True History of the World" pamphlets prior to self-igniting, schizo zines that happen to include the slogan "OCCUPY RETURNS" on the inset (Max was definitely invoking Occupy Wall St and by saying this, I AM NOT implying an ideological throughline from Occupy past to the present anti-genocide campus protests)... The slight uncanniness that his crusade on cryptocurrency on his Substack seems to have presaged another crash & a regional bank closure since his death... And most eerily, the fact that one of Max's most schizo takes was that the World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association in England is a massive child trafficking front, and a few days after his incendiary end, a man was filmed nibbling a young boy's ear in the televised audience of the WPBSA's Snooker Championships, leading to reports filed w/ the South Yorkshire PD & seemingly a criminal investigation.
