Oh! On the way down here he stopped at a convenience store and I noticed a little cemetery in back of it, so while he was inside I climbed up the little embankment to explore. It was lovely and old and I put on my Merlin app to listen for birds when I came to a sign that said “Here lies Whittier” and underneath a headstone ..of the poet John Greenleaf Whittier!!!
