So now what?

Hello everyone! As you've seen I've just released my Burnice video. If you aren't subscribed, don't worry. I'm going to be releasing it publicly in a few days. This post is mostly going to be me yapping so if you don't care about any of the behind the scenes stuff just skip to the last paragraph where I talk about what's coming next.

Overall I feel like quality wise it's a big step up from my last video. The reason it took so long while being so short is because I kind of wanted to really focus on improving the animation quality which I feel like I've achieved. I also ran into a few roadblocks, namely the shaders, Burnice's new outfit, a ton of weird blender jank, and a ton of scrapped scenes (Like the thumbnail for this post).

You'll notice that the sound doesn't sync up with the movements very well... and that's due to a mistake on my part. The short version is that I had a certain setting that was wrong and it threw off the timing for the entire video. I'll make sure it's right next time don't worry.

Now then. What am I up to now you ask? Well firstly I got some suggestions before about making some 'ethereal themed' outfits for the girls. Stuff like short dresses, latex gloves and boots, bodysuit, ect. Maybe paired with some tattoos? I'm not 100% sure yet so just stay tuned. Also, I'm going to be making more 'in theme' outfits like Burnice here. (Think of Hazeker's 'Bottom heavy' mods sort of deal.) Furthermore, I wanted to re-work my shaders (again) but I'm not sure if I should? I just feel like they make the hair too 'plastic' looking. Ethereals will also be getting a bit of a rework since they also have issues, so they might look a lot different next time you see them. I also want to do more with silhouettes! You saw them in my first video but they didn't make it to this one because they are a bit harder to do this time than last time. I'm going to be talking to some folks and, if successful, I'll be posting a few test animations featuring some silhouette goodness so that it can be ready for the next big project. For the last thing... a discord! Maybe. I'm looking into getting a discord set up so It'll be easier to get content to you guys and get some feedback, but full releases and other WIPs will still be shared on this page of course.

But enough yapping! You want to know what the next video is going to be right! And to that I say... I'm not sure, yet. Or rather, I have an idea in mind but it's not fully fleshed out. Once I get the new outfits I was planning on making a nightclub video featuring three of the girls. But thats about as far as that's gotten. I've got Jane Doe locked in for one of the characters so let me know who else you'd like to see. I should also mention that I am participating in this big artist collaboration where I'll be animating Pela from HSR, but that shouldn't really slow down production too much since it's a short scene. Another thing... I do plan on branching out to other games. I had a few ideas for some FGO, Genshin Impact, and Wuthering Waves content. Ethereals are on the menu for right now though but I thought I'd just mention it early on. Alright that'll be it.
