(updated with even bigger dick version)
Line art done and in quite a quick timeframe for me from when i started it.
Process is a big part of artwork and doing artwork faster is always a goal to keep working towards. This might not look a huge leap, but to me this piece has pushed through my current plateau and shown me a new level of achievement on my creative journey.
I've been practicing new ways of doing lineart for the past year, observing other artists, completing a piece but then wanting to re-do and change things up, pushing myself to look a little closer, try a little harder.
For me, it's the line-weight and the biological 'greeble' that I've now learnt and how to use it to add in all the finer details. I'm happy to call this a style now, i've been searching for it for decades!
So, what does this mean? Well if I can draw faster; am more happier in the outcome; then overall, it mean more and better artwork!
