She recognizes the MC; he has trouble recognizing her (the QC MC had a hard time). She might ask when they go back to training, the MC would be thinking about the promised handcuffs.
There's nothing like seeing a woman you have always known without makeup dolled up for the first time. And out of her police uniform.
