Added 2023-03-22 19:53:27 +0000 UTCHi, I have seen that there are some Patrons who, when they cancel their subscription, indicate as a reason to cancel that "Tropecita Games wasn't as active as I expected".
I don't know if this is a general perception, if you would like me to post more things, or if I bother you enough.
Do you think I should post more? What do other developers you support do?

Might to be easy to get how much work is hidden behind a 30 minutes update for those who only play. Easier to blame author that just admitting they a short in cash.

You know where you can find me if you want to chat. I've always said that chatting with fantastic people is one of the things I enjoy the most of being a dev. Uploading updates to different servers and updating the links is the one I enjoy the less π

But I always have the option to jump on discord if I want more info as you've always been around to talk when I've been on (admittedly I haven't been on discord for over a month now but that's because I'm taking a break from a lot of online stuff for a while). Pro tip for anyone here that wants more information/interaction with the Dev - Join the Discord server! Trop is almost always around, super friendly (so is everyone I've spoken to on there), always seems happy to answer questions people have & just chat with us about various things.

2023-03-22 23:01:01 +0000 UTCI think the players who answered that in the survey weren't meaning the update cycle but the number of other posts like wallpapers, teasers, etc. Splitting the updates (0.4, 0.7, and 0.9) has been done because they came out huge (24K, 26K, and 48K words; 1,103, 1,542, and 2,628 renders) so splitting in two looked like a good idea so you didn't have to wait for too long. Now reading this, I realize that what seemed huge in July is a regular update now!

I'm every day on Discord (Tuesdays and Thursdays very little time because I'm at my office) and I answer every message I receive here. You are welcome to chat with me through both means.

2023-03-22 20:46:00 +0000 UTCI personally think how you are posting now is better as you split the game updates into 2 updates which is I'd say is better because it gives time to catch bugs/messed up wording also your doing a great job giving us the updates at a reasonable time period and you shouldn't rush your work
