Animations - What to do?
Added 2023-02-11 10:11:32 +0000 UTCLately I have received some complaints about the quality of the animations, especially in the last update. I know they are not the best and I have to learn how to improve them, but I want to know your opinion about the issue.
The result of this poll will not affect the next update, as it is in progress.

Not sure I will have time to test last update before poll ending. But generally I would say to do it the way you feel comfortable. It’s about balance of workload and quality you want. Breaking that balance would only lead to frustration.

Animations can just really lift the game up imo, I have no issues with avn that don't have them but I always miss them when they aren't there

2023-02-11 15:34:25 +0000 UTCThanks for your opinion, fi I think I will take your advice and reserve some time for auto-training and see what I'm capable of. If I see that it's not enough, I'll take a course, as it was my idea to do in the long run.

2023-02-11 13:17:32 +0000 UTCIn my Opinion the Animations should continue. I would rather see you take a course, some one on one tutoring or just some training by yourself and have one or two updates lets say each two weeks delayed or something like that than have no animations. I think that should give you some theoretical backround/external input to jumpstart the process and the rest will probably come with practise. If you put it off till you have time to learn, there is the risk, that develpement gets more complex as the story continues and therefor it would in practise mean a stop to animations altogether. Its not a given, but it is a risk. Last but not least: You do a great job. Consider criticism as you already do, but don't let it get to you.
