Upfront charge

After the free publication of v.0.4.1 on various websites, there has been a significant increase in the number of players who have registered as Patrons. My sincere thanks to all of you, both newcomers and those of you who have been here since the beginning..

There has also been a significant increase in the number of people who register, download the latest update (0.4.5), and unsubscribe immediately. The most blatant example was a player who was a Patron for only 6 minutes.

I think this is not fair to those of you who are real Patrons, since someone can register for the highest Tier, download the content they want, and unsubscribe having had access to the same content you enjoy.

It is for this reason that, feeling very sorry to have to make this determination, I have decided to charge the first subscription at the time of pledging. Some of you have asked me in the past why I don't charge upfront, and you know that it is not my policy to do so, but I am compelled to do it in order to be fair to everyone.

Those of you who are already paying will not be affected, as your subscription is already covered. This will only apply to new Patrons.
