I was working for a Christian org back in the day (we all have faults) and some of the people I worked with were just chatting before an event. One of the guys just casually said, "Did you hear that stuff with Hillary and the demon worship? Like with kids and a pizza place." I said, "What? You have to know that's not true...right?" The guy was like, "I don't know, but it would be crazy if it was." "But it isn't. You know that...right?" But they didn't know that. They were already pilled. This stuff was so baked into evangelicalism's need for good vs evil.

2025-09-25 23:58:29 +0000 UTCGuys, you have no idea how much I needed to hear the part about blessing teachers, especially those of us who care, this week. It's been a shitshow lately and if you want some fun and melted tweets look up the incredible busllshit storm that happened in Loughton, England this week. I wasn't at the school where there was a random unhoused dude looking for food in bins who got arrested on a warrant, but I did get to hear a hailstorm of racist rhetoric wrapped in "who will save our kids" all week.
