First we’ll be talking about how even conspiracy theorists had to push back against a terribly lazy hoax about VP candidate Tim Walz. Then we’ll be talking to reporter Robyn Pennacchia about her deep dive into a majorly pilled telegram community whose leader disperses intel drops she claims come from both the military and celestial angels. And as a special desert, we’re sitting down with reporter Ken Klippenstein to discuss his recent defeat & subsequent victory against Elon, after Ken linked to his reporting about the JD Vance dossier.

Ken did not and he also has had absolutely nothing to say about him being the only person who got reinstated on Twitter. So Ken claiming it as a victory is pretty lame when all Elon did was assuage one person which got that person back to posting on Twitter.

Just stuff we mostly already knew. So the REAL headline was the hack itself. Iran hacking a presidential campaign is the big scary. So the media gets more out of telling people that a hack happened and then refusing to publish the hacked info than they would from publishing the dossier in its entirety and boring everyone with JDs Magic the Gathering collection. As long as they keep the contents of the file secret, they can keep pretending to be noble, but all their viewers are desperate to know... What's in the file that's SOOOOO scandalous that Iran went to the trouble of stealing it and sending it to journalists?

We use ai to tell if a thing is a propane bottle or someone just putting some junk in to trick the vending machine. It can do that slightly better than a ir sensor. But that is probably like peak usefullness for ai stuff

This restriction can be observed in real time on CSPAN, watching Capitol workers cover exposed IDs when they walk by cameras. I wear mine backwards on a lanyard so it isn’t exposed and can easily turn it around to pass through security points. They wanted to see how he would play it and decided to play dumb and see how it goes. It’s either the FBI is that incompetent or seeming incompetent was a decision for the purposes of this interview. For whatever reason they made the decision they did it and did a great job. Interviewing people involves being friendly and lulling them into being comfortable and listen to how effective it was.

2024-10-19 16:33:59 +0000 UTCLove you guys and I've enjoyed Ken's appearances in the past but ever since he went on lindelltv and talked on steve bannons war room show I'm having a hard time not side-eyeing him. As far as I far as I can tell he went on to discuss updated IRS standards that allow the government to launch investigations based on obtuse and vague assertions of interfering their right to govern. While I think this is a good thing to investigate and discuss I'm having a hard time squaring that with the choice to engage in that conversation on a far right propaganda network, run by a man that ken himself has routinely-and accurately-described as a fascist and genuine threat to democracy across the globe. It just calls into question his judgement in my opinion. I understand that the American political ecosystem is fraught and nebulous at the best of time, especially the media landscape, and im certainly not demanding an explanation or feel that yall are beholden to explain a guests actions, but I think that viewers should be aware of this type of stuff especially when it comes to assessing Ken's reporting. That's all, thanks for coming to my Ted talk I'll catch you on the next one.
