2023-09-01 07:56:37 +0000 UTCI don't know if "addiction to chocolate cake" is a great analogy there. You can be addicted to chocolate cake because sugar is addicting. Doesn't even have to be cake in America where our food is all jammed with added sugar. And food addiction is real. Maybe I'm like 20 years behind on the research but I've dealt with drug addiction and eating disorder my entire life and both have always been kind of treated and talked about in a similar way.
