The only way to defeat the power of super intelligent AI is to BECOME immortal superintelligent AI ourselves. That’s one the main transhumanist ideas floating around Silicon Valley currently. I THINK that’s what the otherwise weird epilogue to the film was alluding to. Naturally such ideas have NOTHING to do with traditional human anxiety about our own mortality.
