I'm the resident paranoid conspiracy guy at my office and all my coworkers know I have basically zero exposure to normal news and come to ask me about stuff as a kind of sanity check to media narratives. They were all pretty disappointed when I explained what the case is actually about and how low stakes and kind of trivial the allegations are.

His intent was to prevent his voters from learning about Daniels and McDermott. He cheated in countless ways in 2016. He barely beat Clinton and had to cheat to do so.

It doesn't require any actual act of violence, more to do with failing to follow safety protocols or regulations etc that lead to death.
