I'm so glad that family was able to file a lawsuit and get some compensation for these lies and conspiracy theories. I've often wondered why more people do not bring lawsuits against others on social media for slander and defamation of character. If said people have posted anonymously, we should be able to bring lawsuits against the social media company/outlet for being the conduit of, co- conspirator of these claims and allowing the distribution of these slanderous theories and blatant lies, then maybe more people would think before they just get online to post and attack people. This has and can lead to real life violence, it's scary to think that you can literally go online slander and lie about someone, and basically ruin their entire life (possibly get them beaten up or killed) and somehow it's still legal. We obviously are going to need to (re)write a lot of laws regarding social media and the influences that they have on our society as a whole, especially on our democracy.

Until a couple days ago, I didn’t realize that people who aren’t actually Patreon supporters can comment on the free episodes. The comments make a lot more sense now.

I hate when people defend the Clintons simply because Republicans don't like them. Bill is a rapist and very likely a pedophile, and Hillary personally oversaw the wholesale murder of thousands of innocents in the Middle East. Using clandestine means to silence opponents is ABSOLUTELY NOT out of the question. TO BE CLEAR: I do not think Rich was murdered by the Clintons.

OK the LOL was in poor taste. But it’s also my life, I can wager it as I choose. I’m just expressing an opinion and I can clearly be wrong. I’m sorry but it’s just not that much of a stretch when you have someone like Bill Clinton palling around with a prolific pedophile for decades that there are some dirt on them that would be worth killing to cover up. when we have an ex president that is almost certainly going around fucking children all over the world I just can’t see murder being a line they wouldn’t cross. I'm sorry, but do you realize that you have accused actual human beings of murder without any evidence? Vague insinuations, such as this, are how misinformation originates. Somebody will read this and say, "Oh, the Clinton's definitely did it because they are so shady." We now see in our current political culture how not 'LOL' this is. i would bet my life that the clinton’s have had at least one person killed. the entire list is obviously bunk. but one or two would not shock me. i don’t think this was the case with seth though and i feel bad for his family.

Hearing Andy Kroll speak about Seth Rich was somehow very touching, almost like listening to a eulogy. It was good to hear about the person beyond the memes and conspiracy theories. Thank you.

God this is such a gross story. Like the amount of times some worm comes to this grieving family to take advantage of them over and over is so fucked up. It's honestly astounding that the family was willing to talk to anyone about this ever.
