I think it is actually a shitty thing to try to pass a law against protesting outside of public officials homes. That is just a freedom of speech issue and it will be used more against left/ POC activists.

I agree it's bad up here, but also we've been doing our best (not always with success) to push white supremacists & fascists out and in some ways it's worked. It's also pushed them out to places where there's less support for antifascists, which really sucks. But we try!

I work at a university, and when Mr. Mathias said “sometimes you just want to go up to people and shake them” to get them to recognize how badly and quickly things are going, I really identified. My lib colleagues are so in their elite bubble that they are completely ignorant, and embarrassingly incoherent when pressed on anything pertaining to the hard-right/crypto-fascist movements spreading throughout North America. It’s infuriating.
