Premium Episode 130: Skinwalker Ranch

Extraterrestrials, dimensional portals, ghost direwolves, UFOs and cattle mutilation. Skinwalker Ranch in Utah has attracted the attention of millionaire Mormons and been studied by various groups of scientists. Jake takes a dip in the water. Apologies to the Ute tribe for consistently mispronouncing the word "Ute" in this episode.

One of the creepiest and best episodes, really something for everyone. Love Jake episodes

Anybody seen the new Netflix show

I interviewed George Knapp about Lazar a couple of times in the Nineties. He is the perfect example of the (otherwise very good) journalist who falls for a story because it's so enticing he wants it to be true. Even though the Web was in its Stone Age, it took less than two hours of digging and a half dozen emails to uncover huge holes in Lazar's bio. We even used a truth detector on Lazar to demonstrate how he could pass the test despite giving answers which were clearly lies. Unfortunately, The Discovery Channel then vetoed my plan to buy a recently slaughtered cattle carcass, stake it out in the Arizona desert, and then use time-lapse photography to demonstrate how little critters chew at the decomposing remains to create the so-called alien mutilations. Can't imagine why they said no. This was, of course, in the days before TDC decided to abandon truth as an arbiter of whether a film should be made or not.

I was looking out of my parents' kitchen window one night when I was in high school (late 1990s). I saw a white light in the sky, but it was flying in an erratic pattern and switching directions quickly, not like any of the planes or helicopters that were regularly seen (we lived by the Lehigh Valley International Airport in PA). Suddenly, the white light got *even brighter* in my direction, and then it took off to the right in a straight line. I ran to another window on the other side of the house, but it was gone. Still don't know what it was to this day 🀷🏻

Who knows, I'm not sweating it. Could have been anything I just don't have any explanation for it personally. I'd also see things that are both unexplained and not natural but probably some sort of hush hush drone tech.

Abaddon the Despoiler

Nature is strange. It'd be strange if it weren't.

These episodes are great - always full of stuff I never thought I'd be interested in.

Tee Kay

Strong agreement here. Love when they cover stuff that's a little lighter. It was a nice break from feeling depressed.

No joke I saw something like the "orange orb" fly over me in the dead of the night in Afghanistan. I wasn't the only one who saw some weird shit in the sky and it wasn't the only weird thing I saw myself.

Abaddon the Despoiler

I will pay 10$ per month if there are more eps like this. Create a separate tier for these eps and I’ll pay that too. 10/10 amazing

Skanda
