Cats can get concussion however their brain is set a little further back in the head than humans, so banging the front on a headboard is less likely to be traumatic. If your cat has suffered a head injury, it will possibly be vomiting, having seizures, struggle with coordination eg walking or be dozy and drowsy. FYI as I adopted a cat with a head injury. He is still extremely loving
