For the longest time, I wanted a transforming mech to be included in the Space Marine arsenal. Years of thinking and I finally got it conceptualized. A mix Starcraft 2's Viking and Robotech with aspects of a Space Marine Dreadnought, I think it looks fantastic. The same artist who did my Overlord concept last year, I feel this is another genius work by him. As for the naming, considering the Space Marines had a set of vehicles that start with "Storm", Stormknight felt fitting to this. Now the Space Marines will fly and dogfight, and land instantly with their guns in the faces of Mankind's enemies. I think the Hammerfall Bunker has competition.
Weaponries include dual assault cannons mounted on top where they can be twin-linked or separated to be shoulder-mounted with a 360-degree turn; shoulders are virtually missile pods, can house anti-air or anti-ground warheads; arms are Desolator lascannons, same ones on the Overlord for massive laser fire; and the chin mount is a ball-mounted dual heavy bolter turret. And like most vehicles in Warhammer 40,000, the weapons are modular and can be swapped for whatever specification the pilot or the mission needs.
I did the color scheme of the Emperor's Spears. I feel the Stormknight greatly invokes their motto: "Skovakarah uhl zarûn!"; ("Redden the earth!").
And look, a Blood Ravens' color scheme. Now they're trying to steal the spotlight.
