Pornography & Social Engineering: The Pornhub Psyop
Added 2024-02-25 18:38:51 +0000 UTCIn this bombshell investigation, Arden Young (@arden_young_) of Sound Investigations (@SoundInvestig) goes undercover to interview employees of porn megacorporation AYLO (formerly MINDGEEK) to expose the vast amounts of corruption and illegal activity.
Video admissions captured by Arden include:
-Knowingly insentivising employees to put extreme fetishistic trans and LGBT content on sites in order to push new sexual perversions upon the viewer (especially children) for profit.
-Hiring corrupt psychologists using manipulated data to vouch for Aylo in order to protect monetization.
-Neglecting verification of identity, age, and consent of people featured in porn uploaded to the site, including advertisements.
And much more.

This is so horrifying yet unsurprising. And the silence is deafening from the people who are so loud about banning books because they don't want children exposed to certain concepts... I read a study somewhere that 1 in 3 "mainstream" porn videos depict violence and/or aggressive sexual acts. And Brigid was a guest on another podcast where literally every single episode is about a different woman who was murdered by a man with a "death fetish" porn addiction. Porn is just such a vast, widespread problem on so many levels and in so many ways, yet there are so few people who are working to address it.
