Hello all you space rebels,

It’s April! And that means that we are plowing full steam ahead to May the 4th and our Hoth to Go show!

Updates from us:

Feeling Shrexy happened, and it was so much fun! We essentially sold out a few weeks before the show, which meant that we had a house full of enthusiastic, shrek-loving weirdos. It was the best.

If you missed it, don’t worry! Videos, photos, and fun bonus content from the show will be shared throughout April & May (in case you haven’t noticed already.)

And if you want to see it live! Well, we will see what we can do! Talks are underway for a potential remount - and really, who doesn’t want more Shrek in their lives?

Other than Shrek, last week was the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival! As our beloved, Androsia Wilde - also wears the Artistic Director hat over there, she has been busy, busy, busy!

Geekenders had the chance to present at the Buffies (VIBF community awards night) as well, and it was just a fantastic night with so many great faces present.

We also want to give a big congrats to all the Geekenders’ friends who were nominated for various awards! Especially to Pixie Lixx for winning the MUCH DESERVED Stage Kitten Award - she has been a part of our community for years, and is just the best.

Two other standouts are two of our other favourites: Peter Packer, and Homo Hardware - Peter for winning both the “Best Bea” award, and co-winning the “Silliest Goose” award with Homo Hardware. If you watched Homo’s Shreking Ball number, you will understand why they won that.

This cast is fantastic btw - there were so many fun pitches to choose from (which of course always makes our job harder, but certainly not the worst problem to have).
