We’ve been making great progress refining our new workflow. Right now, we’ve designed this intro shot of Neil, which will serve as a reference for our new 3D aesthetic. The goal is to match it as closely as possible so the final look stays true to the 2D style.
While Kahl is busy polishing the 3D model, Emi put together this intro shot to present the character ✨ (We’ll probably share it on our socials soon!) We’re also deep in conversation about where to take the story next—some fun ideas are already coming up! It’s always exciting to dive into the design of new characters :D
This 2D image is our reference point—it helps us take notes on the draft model and start polishing it up.
We’re currently working on Dante's model—and even Kim’s too, since he'll probably make a little cameo in this new story.

Este video aun usa 2D, pero nos ayudará como referencia para "igualar" el 3D que estamos diseñando. Tambien rstamos planeando que esta animación dure un poco menos, pero dependerá un poco de como se desarrolle la historia final. Para una de las historias de AfterDark tenemos pensado a un personaje latino. La idea de combinar ingles/español es muy buena idea >:3

2025-05-31 07:45:06 +0000 UTCpor cierto el tiser se ve genial no parese que mesclaron 3d parese totalmente en 2d esta gebial tengo una pregunta para este episodio tendra la misma duracion que el primero y quiza en un futuro no muy lejano puedan integrar a un personaje de latam que combiene en ingles y español estaria divertido eh interesante pero ustedes son los artistas me encanta como va gracias por su gran trabajo y sigan asi con esos animos

You've nailed the look, and this 3d but 2d-looking style has gotten more popular with anime and games so I'm sure it's something we'll all get used to and should make more complex animations a lot more smooth!
