Ah yeah. Well... best of luck with the job hunting. Yeah I understand on the paying ahead. It’s not something I’d be able to do myself. As for the data... I don’t know how much you have to play with, but sending pictures through Discord is pretty efficient? If you already have it downloaded. Or email I guess, is that a bit too public? You could down size the pictures to be like 640x640 for any WIP because it’s still going to show everything, while saving like 80-90% of the space? I suppose you could also offer commissions similar in a sense to the Patreon requests you did? Those you tended to have one WIP before done? I dunno, just trying to think of a middle ground. Since I... don’t think there’s anything stopping the like, grayscale polished sketch style commission type you were doing there (I don’t know the proper term it was called, sorry!) - having it non-colour means less chance of needing to alter any WIP since markings etc will be fine. And I guess there’s nothing stopping full colour/shading from being available once you have internet, like as a picture upgrade? (I hope that made sense, so idea was like sketch Snivy is the WIP point, to finished Snivy for Which Left?! And then at a future point if the commissioner wanted, when you have internet they can pay the additional for it to be full colour/shading etc) - I’m probably just typing garbage As for the desktop site for FA... have you tried holding down the refresh button/arrow, as it may show the option for request desktop site. Either that, or in your settings when on your browser on the page

Been looking for a new job, and then the whole yhing with the house happened so I couldn't for a while (well.. still applied in that time, but no good). Probably going to start trying again soon, yeah. That's true, I suppose. Could probably still take commissions as long as my phone data holds up... Since my phone is now used for pretty much everything, that's kind of iffy. That.... mn... I do already take payment up front (when I start the comms); but I really don't like the lack of WIPs I'd be able to update people with. Paying ahead, though.. Other artists can make that work far better than me ^^; My stress would just go into orbit at that point, honestly. Thank you, though. Still might be able to do them, going with your idea... would just need to find a way to get things to people without eating my data.. Shit.. and also just remembered; first need to find a way to get FA "off" of this horrible mobile mode. Can't navigate it at all and nothing I've tried the last few days has let me go to desktop with my phone.

Ugh that sucks, that's a really long delay there on getting reimbursement. I don't suppose you're able to look for a different job at all? Likely a stupid suggestion with all that's going on. On the commissions thing, I can only think of what I've seen a few other artists have done. I assume you have some kinda internet since you posted here, but I could be wrong. But what I was gonna say, is you could open and have people pay upfront before it's their turn. Basically as a 'only do this if you are willing to, as it could take me weeks/months to get to your one'. At least that way, you could somewhat work offline if you have all the ideas and payments upfront? I know it's not ideal for stress and feeling like people are owed, just saying what I've seen. I've paid one artist this way and it'll probably be 8 months total before mine gets looked at. People will only do it/pay if they're comfortable with it. I don't feel like a Patreon pause is necessary, as you've posted a lot really in the last couple of months? And you could still draw with an intent to upload, it'll just be delayed by some amount of time. Sorry if like, none of this was helpful at all.
