Before our New Year's eve

Today is New Year's Eve, in Lunar New Year. And as the tradition, I must stay up late whole night till chickening. So I try to remake the art before and draw something new.

I think you foreigners may know something about Lunar New Year Eve,but you don't the deepth.

The Lunar New Year’s Eve, known as chuxi , is one of the most important days in our culture. It marks the final day of the lunar calendar and serves as the prelude to the Lunar New Year celebration. Deeply rooted in traditions and family values, this day embodies themes of reunion, renewal, and even rehope. Its cultural significance continues to shape our modern society, even in this rapidly evolving world.

Even if urbanization and fast-paced lifestyles cannot interrupt, Chinese New Year’s Eve continues to act as a cornerstone of familial connection.People like me living in other city,we must return to our home .

The reunion dinner remains a powerful symbol of togetherness, even as physical distances between family members grow due to career and educational pursuits. For me and many, the annual journey home, known as “Chunyun” , highlights the enduring importance of our family bonds, despite the challenges posed by modern mobility and logistics.

However the meaning of family gatherings has also adapted. now more an more youngth use virtual connections through video calls have become a substitute when physical reunions are not feasible, ensuring that the essence of the reunion dinner remains intact in a digital age. Also more and more youngth do not go back and contact family in this day, maybe for no money, or not be able to go home,or ashamed of the family, many people will not go back anymore.Tradition does not necessarily continue to continue,

But I am in very conservative and adhered to the tradition...

The Lunar  New Year’s Eve now is more than just a date on the lunar calendar; it is a celebration deeply ingrained in the cultural fabric of modern China and some country which affected by Chinese culture.

Its themes of family, renewal, and gratitude resonate across generations, ensuring its relevance even in modern times.

I hope I can get some achievement in this "new" year
