Good afternoon, thank you all for your strong support. The development of the game has now reached a relatively stable period. I have decided to focus on perfecting the gameplay that I had previously conceived, such as dodging the attacks of the giantess Schbatruien in sizeplay part of gameplay. I will spend some time introducing this next.
The gameplay is a simple WASD-controlled mini-game where you dodge her attacks from the sky and hold on for a certain amount of time. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Because of this, I will add other mechanics, which I will explain in later Intros and demo videos along with the subsequent maps.
This is a very classic gameplay, but it can also become very interesting, and I will incorporate all my feasible ideas to improve this gameplay.
Here, I have made a simple size diagram and a moving GIF. Unfortunately, because this game is not a pixel game and I am not very good at pixel art, the moving animation of the mini Shiraky is a bit blurry when I draw it. But I will gradually improve it later.
As you should have seen in the size diagram, Schbatruien will use a variety of attack methods against the tiny Shiraky, and each of her attack methods will have different effects. I will detail the effects of each of her attacks in the next Introduce as well.
As for the demonstration video of this mechanism, I have to urge the programmer who is working with me to get it done as soon as possible - he has been almost out of work for a long time because he is busy looking for a job, but I have to entrust this task to him because I don’t know how to program or write code, even though I was a student in engineering.
Next month, I will release character setting diagrams, as well as more illustrations and content for my dear subscribers. At the same time, I will try to make some BGM for use in the game.
