Should probably explain, also (thought I did but I guess not... So tired.): Being a kitsune, Kyou lives by eating the souls/life force of other creatures. He never takes everything, even if he's doing it to someone he hates (although he does take more from them).
Depending on how much he eats, his prey becomes severely tired and out of energy; but they are always back to normal after a good night of sleep (which is assured to happen with how tired they are).
He lures prey in by seducing them, and in exchange for their... "having fun"... He gets to eat; they get to sleep better than normal. Win-win~
