Wriggle Nightbug attacks with a storm of bugs! Her Ability allows her to command all the fireflies to darken, and in that darkness her bullets invisibly move closer. Her Spell Card literally bugs players and makes them drop their cards. The bugs eat the cards and grow in power. 

I don’t think we’ve posted Mystia Lorelei’s art before now. She comes with a song of blindness and built in reflect shot ability. Going by description alone, she’s a very slasher-in-the-night character. Here she makes a delectable meal for you. 

When we initially designed Kamishirasawa Keine, we talked about how ideally she would be able to put a card back at the end of the turn, to set up the next player. This idea got cut when we didn’t like how convoluted it made the rules. Now we’re back with a better implementation of the cut idea. Keine can make history far enough ahead to determine both her draws and possibly some of the next player’s. Her spell card is the same, just got a wording update.

Reisen Udonge Inaba gets a wording change that may seem like it doesn’t have a mechanical change, but it actually swaps Last Word/Wide Shot compatibility for extra Twin Shot compatibility. This lets her get multiple do-overs more often. Lunatic Red Eyes doesn’t work on Reaction Danmaku anymore to prevent players from trapping themselves and wasting their spell card trying to redirect an attack that they can’t.

Yagokoro Eirin, the Brain of the Moon, has a most mathematically advantageous spell card. In contrast her Ability only does a little. Big Box’s version effectively does what it always has, but is easier to understand than the old playing on other’s behalf language.

Eirin may be a great pharmacist and doctor, but apparently she’s not a therapist because Kaguya and Mokou keep their feud going with no end in sight. The unchanging immortals haven’t changed in Big Box, either.
