Back in ancient history when Danmaku!! was a weird idea we had at Comiket, Incident cards were shuffled into the main deck and you played them like Action cards. It resembled the play of the card game Flux back then, and several incidents made it into Danmaku!!'s final release. A significant portion of testers also liked that version of the incident deck and we never really revisited it until this month.
Alpha Incident is an incident in the style of Urban Legend Outbreak in that it manifests multiple incidents at once. The players have more control of what incidents end up in play here, so you'll quickly find out if your friends can be trusted with power. The art here comes from another cut card & mechanic, the Doyou Seasonal Subtype. We decided adding a 5th season was too much headache and cut this card before it even had a real sketch. I still like the "Alice in Doorland" idea we had for it though.
